Traditional Marketing Meets Digital Marketing

Caldwell Letter Service, Inc is a direct mail company that serves the greater Chicago area. With a growing need to effectively reach more people, this traditional marketing company sought out the services of WSI for help.

We discussed what their business goals looked like since they have 3 primary services:

As a SMB with a modest budget, it was important to identify not only big goals for the site, but smaller milestones as well so that we could micro focus our SEO efforts for maximum ROI.

After identifying mailing services as the primary focus, we set our sights on a website redesign that would effectively convert leads to customers  as well as meet the demands of Google’s best practice for web design and user experience.

Without neglecting their other services, we put the bulk of the content effort to expand the mail areas to include information for top of the marketing funnel through the bottom of the funnel visitors. Successfully reaching those in every phase of the buyer’s journey addressing information needs such as:

  • How direct mail works?
  • What specifically Caldwell Letter Services can do.
  • Most commonly used products to facilitate Direct mail marketing.

Our site design also took into consideration the buyer persona addressing the main question of ‘ Who needs these services?’ We developed sections for specific target audiences and the verticals they fall into.  Each buyer persona has specific needs, we wanted to efficiently represent how our client could meet the needs of different verticals.

We have successfully built an SEO strategy that can accommodate the eventual growth in additional service areas, can easily be converted to an inbound campaign, and is producing a positive ROI for our client.

Digital Marketing Is On The Rise

High Rise Security Systems, has provided security systems and fire detection systems for commercial propertiessince 2004. As well as installing fire alarms for new construction, they also provide monitoring services, fire alarm inspections and integrated systems.

HRSS, like many small businesses, tried to improve their online presence on their own. After many failed attempts, it became clear they needed the professional help that can only be provided by a WSI agency.

In dire need of a conversion driven site, better visibility in SERP, and desperate need for marketing automation to manage their current data base, HRSS sought our help.

After several strategy meetings between their sales department and our marketing team we developed an SEO and inbound strategy that will affect their fire alarm business to grow that area’s SERP presence and manage leads.

With extensive keyword research, we gave them a full site redesign focused on targeting their very specific, and small pool, of buyer personas. Careful content procurement was important as this is a very technical vertical. We added quality content, again focused on the target audience.

We’ve implemented a link building plan as well as heavily implemented citations for both aggregates and niche directories to increase page authority and brand recognition.

Montessori Schools of Flagstaff enlists WSI to Increase Enrollment

Montessori Schools of Flagstaff has contracted WSI for an extensive digital marketing campaign to increase enrollment.  The goal of the marketing campaign is to increase brand awareness for the Montessori School of Flagstaff through search engine optimization (SEO) to rank for related keyword searches in Google.

 

The core goal of the SEO campaign is to drive traffic to the dedicated SEO pages for each of the four schools:

 

 

Similar to the other marketing programs that WSI manages on behalf of the Montessori West Group, these four schools will be the subject of an extensive content marketing campaign with an editorial calendar mapped out six months in advance.

 

The blog content will be shared on sites includingEdublogs,WordPress, Tumblr, and Blogger. The campaign will also include Google My Business verification and optimization plus local directory listings on sites like Yahoo, Yelp, Foursquare and Bing.

Sacramento Area Telecom Company Engages WSI for SEO

Fortis Telecom, a Sacramento area telecommunications company has engaged WSI to implement an SEO program to promote their 3 key services – High Speed Internet, VoIP, and IT Services.  The goal of the engagement is to improve their online presence, improve lead generation, and automate the flow of leads into Salesforce.

WSI has optimized 8 pages so far focusing on carefully selected keywords that describe Fortis Telecom and its 3 key service offerings. Since some of the Fortis services are targeted toward local businesses, such as their IT Services, WSI will be optimizing additional pages that are geo-modified for local search to improve rankings in target cities where they offer those services. Below are some example pages from the initial SEO implementation:

fiber optic broadband

fixed wireless broadband

WSI also optimized Fortis Telecom’s home page, and set up tracking to measure the results.  The tracking will measure links to the new SEO pages, rankings on the selected keywords, organic visitors to the new SEO pages, as well as lead tracking and conversions. Lead tracking includes form submissions, as well as phone calls from organic visitors.

In addition, WSI implemented a WordPress-to-Salesforce integration which sends all leads captured on the website into salesforce.com where they can be managed by the sales team at Fortis. This integration is key to filling their funnel with active leads, and provides for database segmentation by area of interest.

Off page optimization has just been completed which not only focused on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+, but additionally included LinkedIn to support their B2B presence. The off page optimization plan includes ongoing content creation and syndication on a monthly basis. This will include blogs, directory listings, and social media posts all designed to build links and social signals around the above keywords.  The blogs will be syndicated to Tumblr, WordPress, and Blogger
